This one is actually on NYE, right?

(Just a little ribbing about your "Halloween" gig, guys.) ;)

Ribbing is fine. Yes, it's on New Year's Eve. Are all Christmas parties on the 25th? I like Halloween...enough to wear my Misfits shirt before the actual day. So there!

Now that I'm older, I thought it was great that I seemed to have more patience. It turns out I just don't give a shit.

Around here, I wouldn't be surprised--Texarkana seems able to celebrate it on any date but the fourth of July. :)

Why wouldn't you want this gig? Sounds like it will be one of the best blowouts you guys have ever had--and you have had some good ones. Or am I misunderstanding your remark?

There. That should clear it up, unless you're saying my Misfits shirt looks funny, then we may have a problem, but we'll be able to settle it over a couple of brews when I come over to Player's to hear you guys right before our gig.

Well, to be honest, I have no idea what a Misfits shirt is.

The Misfits--a punk band, and the shirt I have is skeletal, not unlike the artistic depiction of me at the top of this thread, although that does look pretty funny. Meko's character totally cracks me up--that little stache sets it off!

Ah--I thought you were referring to a style of shirt. I guess I fumbled my chance at a punk merit badge with that one. :)
