This starts today @ 3pm in downtown El Dorado, and goes on into the night.

There are two acts from the Texarkana area in this one...I'm looking forward to seeing Twice Taken again...those guys always put on a helluva show, and have been wanting to see Giganto for awhile.

STONING CAIN will be there in attendance, and their equipment will be there due to a practice session at The Corner on Sunday...who knows? There just may be a little SC in this one as well...LOL!

A very interesting night of music, indeed!

STONING CAIN performed 4 originals prior to the show, and surprised some folks with the direction they're heading in with their new material.

Giganto was very impressive with their brand of stoner/doom rock, and made a lot of new fans with that one appearance. They'll definitely be doing some more appearances over this way in the near future.

Silent Masquerade, & Judging The Silence...as well as Nova put on very good performances as well.

Unfortunately, Twice Taken was a no-show.

Fear The Aftermath is to be commended for organizing & running an event that supports & encourages the younger bands of this region to continue performing their preferred genre of music. There are very few venues that welcome these younger acts, and The Corner Cafe' has done a good thing, I believe...by opening their doors for these events.

Another side note...

Once again, there was absolutely no participation, support, or attendance from the regular downtown crowd for this event, yet the Corner Cafe' was PACKED from full to overflowing from 3pm to Midnight.

It just goes to show, that if you're really serious about putting on a live music event, and you do the work before hand...you can draw a new demographic out to support an event.
