Fat Jack's stage in February, think about it, I should be able to hang my bass from my nipples. What could be sexier? Seriously, think about it for a few minutes. Now, come on out to the show Thursday and have a few drinks to get that image out of your mind.

Wow! Thanks so much to all the folks who came out to party. I've never done a Thursday at Fat Jack's and really wasn't expecting too much. We had a pretty packed house for a while and then it wound down for a bit. But then a whole new crowd came in a stayed all the way to the last damn song--which only came because Jeff finally broke a string, and then he sang one more acapella. That last set lasted an hour and 45 minutes. And I don't blame him--a good chunk of that crowd was some very, very nice looking ladies and they were loving them some Jeff. (They didn't even notice the bass player working his ass off to make sure Jeff and some good grooves to work with--no love for the SmittyG.) I had a blast. After it was over, Lent said that FJ's wants us to come back on a Friday or Saturday; I said, "To hell with that, I want another Thursday." I was so happy to have Roj back in the group; when he and Jeff and Lent do the the three-part harmonies, it is too damn cool for words. I could not have asked for a better gig in any way. Thanks to my band mates for having me, Fat Jack's for having us, and, again, to all the folks who came out for the show.

but on the flip side, it's now 4 days later and the swelling is almost gone! yea root canal!
