Open Jam @ Mic'd Music -- 3/24

I've been calling these "bashes" but wanted to try something different this time. Like before, this is not instrument specific and we want as much of a cross-section of instruments as we can get. The topics will focus on recording technology and techniques. Michael hasn't ironed out all of the details just yet, but it sounds like some cool gadgets will be presented as well as information useful to anyone trying to record their music. Our hope is the jam part will provide some cool sample music for some of these demonstrations.

More details will be made available as we figure 'em out. If you have any suggestions, please put them forward and we will consider that as well.

Are you covering software or recorders or both? I am pretty well set on getting a Boss BR600. Does Mic music
carry those? I am looking forward to checking the clinic out.

I'm not totally sure what all Mike carries as far as product lines--I'm pretty ignorant on anything not bass related (I've got a pretty narrow musical focus)--but he checks in from time to time so I'm sure he can answer this better than I. And I'm looking forward to this as well.

Okay, sorry about this, but the date for this really sneaked up on me fast. I haven't been able to get the recording equipment in that I wanted to so.............I think we're just going to have a jam instead. (which is what everyone looks forward to anyways.) I'll have drums, guitars, basses, amps, and a PA up. We can just hang out and play a little bit. Tell a friend and bring a neighbor. See you Tuesday!
