This is shaping up to be bigger than we expected...we've been receiving inquiries from all over the state, & beyond.
Looks like we'll have to move to a larger venue, and add some more bands for SCUMFEST III.

Date For SCUMFEST II has been moved to Saturday, JUNE 6th due to a live Symphony performance on the Union County Courthouse steps on May 23rd.

Could I trouble one of you Admin types to please make the necessary edit?

Due To A Scheduling Conflict...SCUMFEST II Will Be Held On JUNE 6TH, Instead Of May 23rd. There will be a Symphony performance on the Union County Courthouse steps that same night, so we moved the date to accomodate this performance.

Also, Land Of Mines will not be available for that date due to family obligations

After careful consideration, the decision was made to go with the three bands...GIGANTO, STONING CAIN, & THE UNFIT MOTHERS.

We feel that these three bans best represent some of the best hard rock offerings in the South Arkansas area.

Well, after going and practicing with them this weekend, I can finally let the cat out of the bag and confirm that I'm gonna be filling in on bass with GIGANTO for this show. I've been in talks with michael for the last week, but I didn't wanna say anything until we had played a bit and felt it was the right fit. Should be a really fun show and I'm looking forward to it.

And everyone associated with the show appreciates it !

We had already had to change the date, which caused Land Of Mines to have to drop out...then, the drummer for The Unfit Mothers quit. So, my son Jordan for Stoning Cain stepped in, learned all their original material, and will hold them down for this show & the next until their new drummer, Brandon Borden takes over...LOL!

So, we all feel extremely fortunate that this was resolved, and even though we haven't met you yet...you happen to be one of our favorite people...LOL!

It's gonna be a fun show, and all three bands will put on a helluva show! I hope some of you can make it over...we'd love to have ya there!

First of all, our deepest thanks to GIGANTO, THE UNFIT MOTHERS, & STONING CAIN...all three bands were on point Saturday night & each band delivered fantastic sets. These guys overcame varied obstacles & situations that could have very easily kept the event from occurring at all. Thanks for the smooth transition between acts, as well as sharing & supplying vital equipment for each band's performance. Congratulations to you all, individually & collectively...you put on one hell of a rock show! Texarkana, AR has a kick-ass original rock band in GIGANTO, for sure!

Also, kudos to Durty-T...for the outstanding job supplying & operating all the sound equipment. We cannot thank you enough for your efforts on behalf of SCUMFEST II...you were a major part of the success of last night's show. A very competent and professional job, my friend!

We'd also like to thank the management & staff of the Laredo Grill for their hard work & effort to promote and work the show, providing a great venue & security for the event, and also for the beer & shot specials...you went over & beyond the call of duty.

Special thanks to Dustine at the door, Melissa at the bar, Lindsey on the floor, & Jason who seemed to be everywhere at once...you were all integral to the success of SCUMFEST II!

Thanks also to Rod Harrington, of the El Dorado News-Times, Arkansas Rocks! Entertainment, Arkansas Events, Arkansas Internet Radio, and everyone else who helped spread the word. Thanks also to Jolie at Hepco for the graphic design work on the banners & event posters...they rocked!

Last, but not least...a huge thanks to each & everyone who attended the event. Your attendance & support of SCUMFEST II is greatly appreciated. Without the crowd there to enjoy the music & be entertained...there would be no reason in having the show. We were all highly pleased with the large turn-out, & we'll strive to make SCUMFEST III even more exciting & worthwhile for you all.
