hey everybody, we are finally getting close to our first show! it's at Fat Jacks on Saturday, May 23rd. we would love to see all of you there. If you love the big hits of the 80's, (mostly new wave & pop) you will love us! tell all of your friends to come out too.

Sorry I'm going to miss your first show but, if you folks bring the party as much as I'm thinking you will, I'm going to have lots of other chances to catch you. Just to make sure, I want to encourage all the trocks crowd to get out and show some love for this new band--make sure this show is such a success that they get booked back.

Well, it has taken a long time to get it together, including a couple of false starts, but now the date is on us. I wish we had another week to polish things a bit more, so on behalf of the band, I would like to apologize in advance....for rockin' your faces off!!

Also, there will be a tip jar on stage for anyone that wasn't able to make it to the Rains benefit but would still like to donate. Any money collected will be given to Joey Rains. I encourage everyone to give a bit more to continue to show our support. The last conversation I had with Chad ended with him saying that he was looking forward to hearing us at our first gig, and of course I'm excited about the gig, but I'm also sad because I won't be able to get Chad's feedback. I just hope we all have a good time and continue to show our love for Chad's family.

Haha seriously, I don't think that version qualifies as 80's stuff. I really just wanted to see if anyone else had heard that rendition. I heard it at the picture show while awaiting the movie, and it sort of freaked me out. Tom Jones and the Cardigans? Wow.

Was it Sinatra that told T Jones, "...you're just too loud, son."
