I've been so busy working my new dayjob, I actually forgot about this show :/ I was planning on going out on Thursday and now I've got something to look forward to. So I'd have to say I'm not offended by this "bump" at all, sir.

We just got done running down the songs and I must say that I'm very excited about this show. I have said many times that I'm an absolute raving fan of Joey's songcraft and it is such an honor to be part of getting him on the stage so the public can experience his art. And, as a bonus, as I've said before, Lee and I have known each other since high school and have only had the chance to perform together a handful of times so I'm a pretty happy camper about getting to perform with him again.

Thanks so much to Jesse, Dave and the Club Next crew for having us out; as always, it was great to get to play there. My thanks to the little crowd we had show up for the performance too. I really wasn't expecting anyone other than whoever might happen into the club, but Joey is actually starting to build a little fan base. I can't thank Lee enough for joining me in this adventure and Joey for having us on stage with him--it was a pleasure performing with them both. I am very proud of how far Joey has come in just a few short months. The last time he and I attempted this at Club Next was as a duo and it was a bit on the rough side. This time, Joey looked like he was born to perform. There is no doubt in my mind that he has a very bright musical future and that our area will eventually look upon him as outstanding member of the local artist community.

Great show last night, Smitty. I have to admit I was just slightly worried after the first show but Joey came through and you guys REALLY pulled it together. Now all you need is a proper band name...

You might not want to mention that around Joey. He keeps coming up with these wild names that would require a CT to decipher. That's why I told him to go with his name.
