Don't know Mandy...but I got the template from a lady in the U.K.

The gig was confirmed on August 29th...I actually completed this flier on Sept. 5th, the day I received the permission by e-mail, didn't post it on here until September 9th.

You can find thousands of examples of templates that are basically mock-ups of logos...some are free-use images that can be used for differing media with restrictions, & others you have to pay for.

I had an officially licensed Skynyrd T-shirt from the 70's when I was a teenager designed exactly like that as well.

As for Mandy's flier she did for your Benny's Bar gig..the first time I've even seen it was today when you posted the flier thread.


So, no...I didn't steal the idea for the design from Mandy.

It cool the timing was just weird that we both picked out basically the same template and then didn't post til about the same time as well. It's true you can find that template anywhere or a version of it. Mandy just didn't use a template, she searched for Jack Daniels label and then removed the words in photoshop. I know you have to be careful what art you grab of the net it could be copywrited it's best to try to find a free clipart or images site. Anyway it was just one of those strange coincidences.
